On July 27, 2025, the “Embracing New Frontiers, Advancing Digital Synergy” China-Thailand Digital Industry Closed-Door Matchmaking Salon was successfully held at Lujiazui Digital Intelligence Port in Shanghai. Hosted by Lujiazui Digital Intelligence Port and the Shanghai Smart City Development Research Institute, and co-organized by Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), the event aimed to implement national strategies on fostering new intelligent productivity and building a new dual-circulation development pattern.
The salon served as a high-level platform to connect leading Chinese digital technology enterprises with key Thai government and economic institutions, focusing on practical cooperation in digital infrastructure, smart city construction, and industrial innovation.
Shanghai Zemso Urban Furniture Technology Co., Ltd., a prominent smart city furniture solution provider driven by design and technology, was honored to be invited to the event as a representative of China's digital innovation force. With strong capabilities in smart urban infrastructure and customized digital solutions, Zemso actively participated in the discussions and exchanges throughout the event.
During the salon, Zemso's representatives attentively studied the latest “Going Global” policies issued by the Shanghai Municipal Government, which provide comprehensive support for Chinese digital enterprises expanding into international markets. The company also held one-on-one dialogues with officials from Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor Office, gaining firsthand insights into Thailand’s strategic needs in smart city development, digital transformation, and green urban infrastructure.
The Thailand EEC initiative, which aims to transform the eastern region of Thailand into a hub for next-generation industries, has become a key gateway for Chinese enterprises to participate in Southeast Asia’s digital economy. As Thailand continues to invest in high-tech zones, data centers, 5G networks, and intelligent public infrastructure, Zemso’s expertise in Smart Bus Shelter, solar-powered urban furniture, and digital kiosks is well-positioned to support these developments.
Zemso sees this event as a significant step in its overseas development strategy. "Participating in this salon has deepened our understanding of the Thai market and opened up concrete pathways for cooperation," said a Zemso spokesperson. "We believe that through joint innovation and localized solutions, we can contribute to building sustainable, connected, and intelligent urban environments in Thailand and beyond."
Looking ahead, Zemso will continue to strengthen its international partnerships, leveraging its design and technology capabilities to support digital transformation initiatives in Southeast Asia and other emerging markets.
The salon concluded with a consensus on enhancing government-enterprise cooperation, encouraging joint research and development, and promoting cross-border industrial integration. It also marked a new chapter in China-Thailand collaboration in the digital era, offering new momentum for enterprises like Zemso Group to grow globally and shape the future of smart cities together.
