On November 12, Wu Jiani, Director of the Linfen Road Subdistrict Office in Jing’an District, along with Wang Hongliang, Director of the Management Office, Weiping Jiang, Director of the Business Office, and Xiaowen Zhang, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Center, visited Shanghai ZEMSO Group for an inspection and exchange. ZEMSO Chairman Song Li warmly welcomed the delegation. Both sides held in-depth discussions centered on the theme of “AI + Future Community.”

During the meeting, Director Wu introduced the overall situation and governance experience of the Linfen Road Subdistrict. As a national benchmark for grassroots governance, Linfen Road has always been at the forefront of urban governance innovation—from the early “Integrated Online Management System,” to the construction of “Smart Communities,” and now toward building an “AI + Future Community.” The subdistrict continuously promotes the modernization of community governance through digital thinking, accumulating valuable experience in areas such as Party-led governance, public services, and digital administration.

Chairman Song Li then introduced ZEMSO’s development history and its innovation achievements. With many years of expertise in smart urban furniture, ZEMSO has built a full-process service model covering design and R&D, intelligent manufacturing, system platforms, and operation & maintenance services. Currently, the company focuses on “AI Empowering Urban Life,” actively expanding into smart mobility and smart community sectors, driving technological innovation and injecting new smart energy into urban public spaces.
ZEMSO’s Integrated Solutions
Based on this, both parties engaged in deeper discussions on the “AI + Future Community” initiative. With its extensive experience in urban furniture, ZEMSO presented a customized “AI + Future Community” master plan tailored for the Linfen Road Subdistrict. The project is built upon the core concepts of technology empowerment, people-centered design, green sustainability, and intelligent sharing, integrating public spaces, elderly care services, ecological facilities, and digital governance.

The proposed solution envisions a new type of community blending technological intelligence with human warmth. It includes various smart scenarios such as intelligent bus shelters, wayfinding systems, smart benches, smart streetlights, digital information screens, and a comprehensive management platform. By integrating AI technologies into key community scenarios, residents will benefit from services that are visible, accessible, and user-friendly—making community life more intelligent, convenient, and heartwarming. ZEMSO aims to use this pilot as an opportunity to build a practical and scalable solution that enhances both governance efficiency and residents’ well-being.

This inspection marks a new model of government–enterprise collaboration guided by co-creation, co-construction, and shared success. Both sides agreed that smart community development is not merely about installing devices or systems—it is a systemic project that integrates policy planning, scenario innovation, and resident participation. Moving forward, the Linfen Road Subdistrict will use this pilot project to jointly build a “co-creation laboratory” with ZEMSO. Through demonstration sites, data feedback, and iterative optimization, the goal is to form a replicable and scalable “Linfen Model” that can serve as a new benchmark for smart community construction in Shanghai and across China.

As a leading enterprise in the Smart Urban Furniture, ZEMSO remains committed to advancing both technological innovation and social value. In the future, ZEMSO will use this exchange as a catalyst to deepen government–enterprise collaborative innovation, promote the transformation of “AI + Future Community” from concept to reality, and contribute more ZEMSO intelligence and strength to modernizing urban governance and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
