ZEMSO Group Meets with Urumqi Public Transport

On November 17, President Zige Chen of Shanghai Zemso Group, together with other senior executives, visited Urumqi Public Transport Group for an exchange meeting. The meeting was attended by Minxin Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Urumqi Public Transport Group; Xin Li , Chief Economist; and heads of relevant departments. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on the development of smart public transportation, as well as the operation and optimization of Zemso’s smart bus shelter projects in Urumqi.

During the meeting, President Zige Chen provided a comprehensive overview of Zemso Group’s current development status and strategic layout. As a pioneer in the urban furniture industry, Zemso has gradually established a diversified product system comprising more than ten categories of urban furniture, including smart bus shelters, electronic bus stop signs, and smart benches. The company has also developed an integrated “Product + Platform + Operations & Maintenance” solution. Zemso continues to promote the transformation of urban public spaces from basic infrastructure into service-oriented scenarios, delivering more efficient, user-friendly, and city-characterized urban furniture solutions for Urumqi Public Transport through its full-chain capabilities.

Minxin Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Urumqi Public Transport Group, introduced the overall operational status and future development direction of Urumqi’s public transportation system. The smart bus shelters constructed with Zemso’s participation have already been put into operation and are performing well, with positive feedback from the public. These smart bus shelters have significantly improved service quality in terms of waiting comfort, information dissemination efficiency, and nighttime lighting safety. Mr. Yang noted that as the smart bus shelters continue to operate, the ZEMSO Group will closely monitor their long-term performance and looks forward to further strengthening cooperation with ZEMSO in future capacity expansion, functional enhancement, and intelligent integration, jointly creating a public transportation environment with greater urban warmth and intelligent quality.

This visit further deepened mutual understanding and trust between the two parties and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation in the development of smart mobility.
