From July 17 to 20, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026) was successfully held in Shanghai. As one of the world's most influential AI events, WAIC brought together leading enterprises, renowned experts, and industry partners from around the globe to explore emerging trends and opportunities in artificial intelligence.
At the event, Shanghai ZEMSO Urban Furniture Technology Co., Ltd. proudly showcased its ZHI TU AI Guide, demonstrating how AI is transforming urban public services and smart city furniture.
The ZEMSO booth attracted significant attention from government representatives, business leaders, and international visitors. Powered by advanced AI technologies—including digital humans, large language models (LLMs), and knowledge bases—the ZHI TU AI Guide provides intelligent Q&A, navigation, and information services for public spaces such as transportation hubs, commercial districts, and government service centers. Its interactive experience and practical applications drew strong interest throughout the exhibition.
During the conference, Mr. Li Song, Chairman of ZEMSO Group, was invited to deliver a keynote speech, sharing ZEMSO's latest innovations and practical experience in applying AI to smart urban furniture.
Mr. Li highlighted that as artificial intelligence continues to evolve, urban furniture is rapidly transforming from traditional public infrastructure into intelligent service terminals. Looking ahead, ZEMSO will continue integrating AI, large language models, and digital human technologies into products such as smart bus shelters, AI wayfinding kiosks, and smart solar benches, creating urban public services that are smarter, more efficient, and more human-centered.
At the same time, ZEMSO participated in the 2026 International AI City Ecosystem Forum, themed "Earth Intelligence Driving AI Cities." Together with industry experts, the company explored new approaches to AI-powered smart city development under the topic "From Global Perception to Neighborhood Action."
During the forum, Shanghai ZEMSO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Singapore Smart Cities Network (SCN). Leveraging SCN's ASEAN collaboration network, both parties will jointly expand smart urban terminals across Southeast Asia and explore innovative AI applications in urban public services.
During the exhibition, the ASEAN delegation also visited ZEMSO's Shanghai Railway Station Smart City Project, where they experienced key applications including the Party & Community Service Center, ZHI TU AI Guide, and Smart Benches. The delegation highly recognized ZEMSO's achievements in integrating AI into urban public infrastructure to enhance citizen services.
From innovative product demonstrations and keynote presentations to international forums and strategic partnerships, WAIC 2026 showcased ZEMSO's technological leadership in AI-powered urban furniture while reinforcing the company's commitment to accelerating the development of smarter cities.
Looking ahead, ZEMSO Group will continue focusing on intelligent urban public infrastructure, using artificial intelligence as the driving force to deepen the integration of AI and urban furniture. By delivering smarter, more efficient, and people-centric public service solutions, ZEMSO is committed to bringing AI closer to cities—and making cities better for everyone.
