Located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China, the Bus Stop Digital Signage Project reflects ZEMSO’s commitment to advancing smart urban mobility through innovative design and technology. Participating in the project’s design and construction, ZEMSO integrated intelligent digital signage, centralized management, AI-powered interaction, and durable outdoor hardware to support the city’s evolving public transportation needs.
By combining real-time digital services with intelligent system management, the project helps create a more connected, accessible, and passenger-oriented public transportation environment for Jiaxing.
Powered by the HC300 controller, the system features a dual-mode redundant architecture that enables intelligent switching between centralized control and autonomous operation of key peripheral modules. This design supports stable system performance under normal and fault conditions. Over-the-air (OTA) updates also simplify remote maintenance and system upgrades, helping improve operational efficiency for local transportation infrastructure management.
Built with structural strength and weather resistance in mind, the digital signage is designed to withstand outdoor environmental conditions. Its durable construction supports reliable long-term operation, helping reduce maintenance demands and maintain consistent service for passengers.
Intuitive interactive modules provide responsive feedback and clear operational status. These features make digital services easier to use and help passengers access relevant information more efficiently, contributing to a more convenient and user-friendly travel experience.
The system integrates AI capabilities, including image analysis, text-to-speech (TTS), passenger flow statistics, and edge computing algorithms. By connecting large language models with digital human applications, it supports interactive question-and-answer services through touchscreen and voice interfaces.
These capabilities create opportunities for more accessible information services, helping passengers interact with public transportation information more naturally while providing a foundation for future intelligent urban services.
Standardized interfaces and security protocols enable secure integration with third-party hardware and software. This flexible architecture allows the system to accommodate additional functions and evolving service requirements, supporting the continued development of Jiaxing’s smart transportation infrastructure.
The Jiaxing Bus Stop Digital Signage Project brings together intelligent technology and public transportation infrastructure to support the city’s digital transformation.
Improving the passenger travel experience: Interactive digital services offer a more intuitive way for passengers to access information, making public transportation stops more user-friendly and information services more accessible.
Enhancing operational efficiency: Centralized management, redundant control, and remote OTA upgrades help simplify equipment management and maintenance, providing local operators with a more efficient approach to managing digital infrastructure.
Supporting smarter urban management: AI-enabled capabilities, including passenger flow statistics and image analysis, provide technical support for understanding usage patterns and exploring more data-informed transportation services.
Building a foundation for future innovation: Open interfaces and scalable system architecture make it easier to integrate additional applications and third-party systems, creating opportunities for the continued upgrading of public transportation services.
Through this project, ZEMSO Group contributes to the modernization of Jiaxing’s public transportation facilities, helping bridge physical transit infrastructure with digital services and supporting the city’s long-term smart city development.
